Register by mail by May 21:
Complete an entry form and mail to: River City Run,

In person registration and t-shirt pick-up:
Fleet Feet Sports, 2311 J Street, Sacramento
Friday, May 30, from 3pm – 7pm
Saturday, May 31, from 10am – 6pm

Race morning registration:
Waterfront Park, Old Sacramento from 7am – 8:15am

REGISTRATION FEES

5 km, 10 km, runners and walkers, before May 25: $25
(includes a 100% Recycled Cotton/EcoSpun T-shirt and online registration fee)
Late and race day: $30
Children under 6: free (no shirt)
Children 6-16: $15 (includes t-shirt in adult sizes)
Registration is non refundable. We race rain or shine.
Please no headphones for the safety of all participants.
All strollers will start with the walkers at 8:35 am.

When: Sunday, June 1, 2008 Start: 8:30am and 8:35am
Where: Waterfront Park, L and Front Streets

Schedule:
7 - 8:15am – Registration and t-shirt pick-up
8:10 – Start 1/4 mile fun run for 5 and under
8:20 – Start 1/2 mile fun run for 6-10 years
8:30 – Start for 5 and 10 km runners
8:35 – Start for 5 and 10 km walkers, strollers, wagons, etc.
8:45 – Music, entertainment and refreshments
10:30 – Awards ceremony

Fun run is noncompetitive. Everyone wins when they
participate and support sustainable living!

Directions and parking: Located downtown, Old Sacramento can be reached by bus, bike, car and boat. Traveling by freeway from any direction, take Interstate 5 to the J Street exit and follow the signs. Free bike parking will be available during the event. City parking lots and limited metered parking spaces are available. Meter rates start at 10am daily.

Awards: Everyone wins when they participate and support sustainable living! Everyone is honored for their efforts. The fastest three male and female finishers for the 5 km and 10 km in each age division: 12-under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-over will receive a River City Run mug (made with recycled glass!).

Finish line activities: Waterfront Park will feature world music, dancers, and exhibitors

Strollers and Dogs: Strollers and Dogs on a leash are allowed as long as they start with the Walkers to not interfere or endanger the runners.

Volunteers: To volunteer for the race and finish line Celebration, please send an email with your contact information to volunteer@rivercityrun.org. All volunteers receive a 100% Recycled Cotton/EcoSpun T-shirt!
